Learn how to handle emergencies involving livestock before they happen. This course was developed to train first responders on how to handle emergencies involving livestock including motor vehicle incidents, barn fires, entrapment, loose livestock, etc.
This course is offered in a one day (classroom only) or two day (classroom and hands on) formats. Can also be customized to be species specific and for production companies.

Emergency preparedness presentations and workshops focusing on livestock. Programming available for municipalities and producers. How to incorporate livestock into your disaster plan including prevention, preparation, response (evacuation, temporary housing, identification/ownership, triage, euthanasia, dead disposal, post disaster recovery. Also have workshops for producers to develop farm plans.

We  owe all animals in our care a humane end of life. Humane and timely  euthanasia is a topic I am very passionate about. My thesis for my  masters degree was "The use of new captive bolt gun technology for the  euthanasia of pigs". I offer training in euthanasia of all species in  both production settings and emergency situations. My specialization is  captive bolt guns but cover all approved methods. Can be customized to  your needs.
